Large lot of 48 never used vintage linen doilies, each hand embellished with hemstitching and fancy tatting. Perfect for Granny Chic decor, vintage styling, resellers, or collectors of fine antique textiles. 28 round doilies, 20 oval doilies. Colors are primarily soft eggshell white, with one oval in a ecru/tan shade.
Sizes (approximate, including tatting edging):
Rounds: Largest - 15" linen center + 1" tatting, Smallest - 3.5" linen center + 2" tatting.
Ovals: Largest - 16" × 10" linen center + 1" tatting, Smallest - 3.5" × 2.5" linen center + 2" tatting.
The other pieces offer a variety of in-between sizes. All doilies are in original "as-found" condition: unused, unwashed, and carefully stored for decades, resulting in a light natural patina. The final two photos show close-up details of the hemstitching (front and back view) present on every piece - a fine finishing touch.
