PR Madeira Embroidered Pastel Applique Vintage Pillowcases NOS

New old stock pair of vintage pillowcases, hand embroidered in Madeira, Portugal. The edges are scalloped, embroidery is superb, and the pastel appliques are pink and blue. Tag indicates size as 21x36. No indication on either tag of fabric content. Most definitely cotton, but may also be cotton/linen. Original tags are still attached, so this set is in unused, unwashed condition. These will definitely need to be washed before using, as they have accumulated an overall age patina, and storage marks as shown in the very last photo. All will clean up fine in the wash.

NOTE: As previously stated, these pillowcases were not washed, as some people prefer items like this in their original state. However, if you would like this pair of cases cleaned prior to shipping, please say so in the comments section while placing your order, and allow extra time for delivery.
